I’m excited to announce that I am once again taking new bookings for my Light Painting Workshops (head on over to my Portfolio page if you would like to see what kind of work we will be making during the workshop.)

If you would like me to add your name to my mailing list for my new workshop dates then please send me an email to register your interest: hello@davidgilliver.com

Each workshop will be hosted near to the Glasgow area in Scotland and will entail the following:
  • A 4-5 hour session of professional tuition
  • the 1st hour will be spent discussing the technical aspects such as camera settings, outdoor conditions, exposure times etc. and we will also take a look at what tools can be used to go light painting with
  • the remainder of the course will be spent actually making  new light painting work. Each participant will spin Orbs, create rainbow ribbons and much much more
  • you will also receive a copy of my Ebook ‘A step-by-step guide to Light Painting’ and a goody bag of LEDs and glow sticks to take away with you at the end
  • I will also send you all of the work that we create during the workshop for you to keep and show off to your family and friends (they will be amazed!)
The cost of each workshop is £120 p/p.
Each participant will ideally bring along:
– A torch
– A tripod
– A DSLR Camera with ‘Bulb’ mode and a suitable lens (i.e. NOT a zoom lens. Something around the 24mm mark is ideal)
– A remote trigger device for starting and stopping each exposure
I will provide all of the Light Painting tools, including the awesome PIXELSTICK.
You do not need to bring along your own camera gear (as I will also have my gear with me to document proceedings) but you will find that the quality of your learning experience is greater if you set up your own camera gear.
Please get in touch if you would like me to note down your details and let you know about future workshops that will soon be taking place.
